Just wanted to say a massive thank you for my two tier 4 locomotives. As you can see in the photo I've put them to work already. They are awesome. Only thing is I've had to put some extra details on all my other locos now!!. Thanks again for such great service.

I had a few a few issues with a ScaleTrains Big Blow turbine locomotive which I had ordered through Mech Models, Barry went above and beyond the call of duty to source a suitable replacement loco for me. So pleased to have found Mech Models, they have a wide range of appropriate US stock and a very easy to use website. One of the recent items ordered from them became unavailable and I received a phone call very shortly afterwards offering either a refund or back order - I chose the latter as the item was for my spares box. It was a really pleasant conversation and if/when we get over the current crisis I will certainly be visiting them in the flesh. This is my second order from them and in both instances the items were dispatched promptly and well packed. I wish them every success and have put them at the top of my favourites list for future use.

He was exceptionally helpful, and even sent me pictures and a video prior to me ordering. Items were delivered extremely quickly, thank you very much Colin, and were exceptionally well packaged. I am new to modelling North American railroads so finding this dealer was like finding Alladin's cave. The store is located in an industrial estate and is part of a small manufacturing unit. Having traveled quite some distance from home I was offered a hot drink and I needed to use the toilet which was no problem. The owner spent ages with me giving helpful advice and tips which would save me money. I could have spent all day chatting and browsing with no pressure on me. Hi Colin, Thank you for the excellent service as I'm new to the HO scale, this was my first purchase and the extra detail is superb, along with the first class delivery which was on time and the protection you used to stop any damage was extremely effective.

I hope it's not too long before I decide to upgrade to DCC and buy one of the premium models.

I was a little concerned about the 2 lengths of track as I have had damaged track from other suppliers in the past, but your packing was superb and everything was in pristine condition.
